Canine Foster Onboarding 1/30/21

Have questions before registering to become a canine foster volunteer?  Click HERE to read our FAQs or email volunteer@hssv.org.

Our foster needs have recently changed and we are temporarily only onboarding dog-experienced foster families who can foster the following types of dogs:

-Larger adults (40+ pounds)

-Large breed puppies (under 20 pounds but growing fast!)

-Pregnant and/or nursing moms and puppies

-Dogs with medical needs (recovering from surgery, needing surgery, skin or allergy issues)

-Dogs needing a lot of stimulation, both physical and mental (Husky lovers, we're looking at you!!)

-Dogs who might be shy or afraid

-Dogs who might need some extra training around how to interact with other dogs or strangers

*If these types of dogs are not a fit for you right now, please check back with us! We'll continue updating the Canine Foster webpage as our needs change.

Your virtual Canine Foster Onboarding will be Saturday, January 30 from 11:30am-12:00pm (via Zoom)

Thank you!
