Wouldn't it be nice for your daily walk to be a relaxing experience rather than a rowdy romp as your dog drags you down the street? Are you confident your dog would come back to you in an emergency? Join us for this 3-week, in-person class that will focus exclusively on the skills designed to teach your dog to walk politely on a leash and to come when called even in the midst of distractions and temptations. In addition to not pulling, we will also work on how to get your dog past distractions without losing their mind, whether they are anxious or just super excited! We will give you the tools to continue this training at home to ensure your pup has great loose-leash skills and reliable recall!
We recommend you have the below items by the first session:
- Flat collar or harness
- Head halters allowed, but a collar or harness is required in addition to the head halter
- Harnesses may be front or back clip, and Martingale collars (limited slip) are permitted
- NO prong, choke, or shock collars
- 6-8 ft standard leash
- NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES
- Three (or more) different kinds of tasty treats, cut up small
- One or more of your dog's favorite toys
