Wouldn't it be nice for your daily walk to be a relaxing experience rather than a rowdy romp as your dog drags you down the street? Join us for this special 1 hour, in-person workshop that will focus exclusively on skills designed to teach your dog to walk politely on a leash. In addition to not pulling, we will work on how to get your dog past distractions without losing their mind, whether they are anxious or just super excited! We will give you the tools to continue this training at home to ensure your pup has great loose-leash skills!
We recommend you have the below items by the first session:
- Flat collar or harness
- Head halters allowed, but a collar or harness is required in addition to the head halter
- Harnesses may be front or back clip, and Martingale collars (limited slip) are permitted
- NO prong, choke, or shock collars
- 6-8 ft standard leash
- NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES
- Three (or more) different kinds of tasty treats, cut up small
- One or more of your dog's favorite toys
